Polly has had a twenty year career as a PA at Exec level in some of the most exciting companies. She has developed a great network of contacts and in 2012 decided to start her own private PA business Hang up the Moon®. Since then, she has had the pleasure of working with a large variety of
dynamic clients ranging from high profile media figures, HNW individuals, celebrities, Parliamentary
members, FTSE100 company Directors, chefs, film-makers and entrepreneurs, all of whom have been
recommended via word of mouth. She has worked closely with organisations and institutions such
as The House of Lords, Brunswick LLP, The National Gallery, The Wellcome Collection, The
National Trust, The Woodland Trust, The Natural History Museum, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, The London
Philharmonic Orchestra and TeenTech CIC.
Prior to university, Polly completed a secretarial course at the acclaimed St Aldate's Secretarial College in Oxford before moving to Barcelona during her Gap Year. After receiving a BA Honours Degree in French & Spanish at Liverpool University, which included a year living in Granada in Andalusia, she moved to Sydney where she worked for the Australian Rugby Union and Citibank.
In 2004 she joined the advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi in London where she had the fortunate opportunity of working with many inspiring and creative minds and talent throughout the EMEA region where working on creative client briefs helped her gain a valuable understanding of the creative concept/design process.
In 2008 she went on to become Executive Assistant to Sir Mark Thompson, then Director-General of the BBC - a role which demanded huge responsibility and professionalism, but which offered her extensive exposure to some of the most exciting elements, famous faces, maverick personalities and memorable moments in broadcasting.
Following a temporary relocation to the South Devon in 2011 where she worked for Sharpham winery on the river Dart, Polly now resides in South Buckinghamshire, just outside of London.
Polly is an enthusiastic, reliable and creative individual. She is highly organised, proactive, focused and enjoys a challenge. Her discretion, loyalty and versatility combined with a good sense of humour makes her a very easy person to work with.
Her passions include interior design and homemaking, yoga & Pilates, boxing, gardening, music and
playing the piano. She is a self-confessed country girl and dog-lover, passionate about the natural world and relishes activities in
which she can get close to nature, water or mountains. She has travelled extensively and loves any opportunity to use her languages.
